Addie Vowell

Funeral services celebrating the life of Addie Vowell will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Haughton United Pentecostal Church in Haughton, Louisiana with Rev. Michael Tull, Rev. Terry Moore, and Rev. Josh Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Sikes Ferry Cemetery in Sarepta, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Addie was born December 31, 1934, in Bernice, Louisiana and entered into rest August 18, 2023, in Elm Grove, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Vowell, son Roy Vowell, Jr., daughters Deborah Vallery, Theresa Flores, and Linda V. Young, and stepson David Caraway.

She is survived by her sons Ricky Vowell of Minden, Corey Vowell of Elm Grove, and Robert Vowell of New Boston, TX ; daughter, Barbara F. Ellis of Elm Grove; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great great-grandchildren.
