Vivian, LA. - Funeral services celebrating the life of Myrtle Agnes Mitchell, age 90 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. with Rev. Ricky Jeane, pastor of the Vivian United Pentecostal Church officiating. Interment will follow at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery, Ida, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 10^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until services time. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Hico, LA on August 20, 1927 to Raymond and Veda Reynolds and passed away on January 8, 2018 at Cypress Point Nursing Home in Bossier City, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal church. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Haney Mitchell, two sons, Haney G. Mitchell and John S. Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Sherry W. Mitchell of Rodessa, LA, Donna Langston of Haughton, LA, Bonnie Mitchell of Rodessa, LA, Jonette Richardson of Emerson, AR, Calvin Mickey Mitchell of Kilgore, TX and Carroll Ray Mitchell of Atlanta, TX. Mrs. Mitchell is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Honoring Mrs. Mitchell as pallbearers will be David Hopkins, Donavan Mitchell, Jason Glen Mitchell, Cody Barlish, Greg Hopkins, David Richardson, Noah Mitchell and Dougie Lawrence.
