A memorial service will be held at a later date for Albert. W. “Bill” Berry of Heflin, Louisiana. Bill was born October 18, 1937, in Natchitoches, Louisiana and entered into rest June 11, 2024, in Heflin, Louisiana. He was a carpenter for McInnis Brothers for over 40 years and he served his country in the United Sates Marines.
Bill was an avid sportsman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a long-time member of Leatherman Creek Hunting Club near Athens, LA. Favorite places to fish were spent on Toledo Bend and Lake Fork, TX. Bill is sadly missed by friends and family.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Berry, mother Mildred Barnhill Berry, sisters, Sharon Sibley and Janice Berry, brothers, Ken Berry and Claude Berry, son, Billy Wayne Berry, and step son, Ryan Gibbs Hord.
He is survived by his wife Ginny Gibbs Berry, son William Shannon “Shane” Berry, daughters Debra Ann “Debbie” Berry, Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Berry and Tammy Renee Berry, grandchildren, Kristi Berry, Matthew McCain. Dylan Berry, Joshua Stewart, Mckenna Berry, Emma Berry, and great grandchildren, Hanna Fuselier, Lily Fuselier, and Derek McCain. He is also survived by two stepchildren, Leah King and Shelby Hord and three step grandchildren, Blaine Hord, Kyleigh Hord, and Karson Hord..
