ELM GROVE, LA - Albert Pitman Lee, a local contractor and retired Chief from the US Navy, peacefully passed on after a lengthy illness to be with our Lord, in the presence of his wife, Carolyn Sue Dennis Lee, on Monday, December 1, 2014. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Visitation will begin at 12 noon prior to the service. He was born in Blue Ridge, GA to Clay and Edna Viola Lee. Albert graduated from LA Tech in Business Administration. He was an extremely loving husband and father and a wonderful Papaw, as well as a devoted friend. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Lee; children, Susan Rene Wilton and husband, Wes, Angela Denise Fowler and husband, Chris, Thomas "Bubba" Lee and wife, Donna and daughter, Ann; grandchildren, Lauren Rene Umphenour and husband, RJ, Krystyn Ariel Gunn and husband, Kacy, McKenzie Brooke Wilton, Cody Wayne and Cheyenne Bailey Fowler, Leah Magiolo and husband, Tyler and Stephanie; as well as a very precious great granddaughter, Baylee Rene Umphenour; nephew, Scott Oliphint as well as numerous other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his loving puppies, Kolby P, Kissy K and Charley B. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Essie Erle Mitchell and brother, William Reese Lee. Special thanks goes out to all of the staff and caregivers at St. Joseph Hospice, with special thanks to Shirley and Leslie for their dedicated loving care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, please honor our veteran and loving husband and father with donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA.
