Alberta Ann Springer

Graveside services for Alberta Ann Springer, 90, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Forest Park East Cemetery with Bro. John Dowd officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside. Alberta was born June 11, 1928 in Orange, TX to Albert and Fidelia Humble and went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2018 in Monroe, LA. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, V.W. Springer; and stepdaughter, Betty Green. Left to cherish her memory are her son, John Wesley Springer; daughter, Stephanie Springer Blackmon; stepson, C.W. Springer; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Giddeons International or charity of donor's choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Avalon Place in Monroe.
