Alene Delores Moore

Alene Delores Procell Moore was born November 27, 1943 and went home to the Lord on November 2, 2020. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath South Funeral Home on November 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. Reverend Murry Hodge will officiate. Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Alene was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Sunday mornings and Senior Adult Ministry. Alene did not meet a stranger. She enjoyed spending her time with her friend, Richard Dolloff, and all her friends at Southwood Square where she was known as "Mo." Alene was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lilliemae Procell; husband, Glen Moore; sister, Mary Stanford; brother, Jim Procell; sons Johnny and Billy Dickerson. Alene is survived by her sister, Helen Wallace; brother, Sam Procell Jr. and wife, Margie; sister-in-law, Dot Procell; daughters, Jackie Parham and husband, Wayne, Millie Moore and husband, Andre, and Tammy Denise Hunkins; granddaughters, Emily Ouzts and husband, David, Hannah Jones and husband, DJ, Melinda, Cheryl, Sherry and Colleen; many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. We would like to thank Dr. Morrison and Dr. Holladay of Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the wonderful care given to our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
