Alfred Buddy Cordova

Stanley, LA - Services for Buddy Cordova, 78 will be held 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Logansport, LA with Reverend Lance Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Chreene Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Buddy was born December 11, 1935 in Grand Cane to Alton and Nellie English Cordova and passed away at his residence in Grand Cane. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Logansport. Preceding Buddy in death was his first wife Emma Ruth Mathews; parents Alton and Nellie English Cordova; grandchildren Joshua Stone and Nacole Cordova; and brother-in-law John Hughes. Those left behind to cherish Buddy's memory are his wife of 30 years Alice Cordova; sons Jonathan Cordova and wife Brandi, Ricky Cordova and wife Lori, and Mickey Cordova and wife Lisa; daughters Robin Henderson and husband Glenn and Dana Williamson and husband Keith; sister Doris Cordova; grandchildren Cody Cordova, Cory Cordova, Ricky Cordova, Jr., Tia Stone, Jaden Henderson, Adam Henderson and wife Courtney, and Timothy Henderson; great grandchildren Preston Stone, Tex Henderson and Chevy Cordova, brothers Jimmy Cordova and wife Wanda, Raybon Cordova, and Bobby Cordova and wife Linda; brothers-in-law James Hughes and wife Peggy and Kenneth Hughes and wife Barbara; and a host of nieces and nephews. Those honoring the life of Buddy as pallbearers will be Jimmy Cordova, Jonathan Cordova, Eli Raybon, Bobby Cordova, Raybon Cordova, Ricky Cordova, Jr. and Chase Cordova.
