A Celebration of Life for Alfred "Freddie" R. Hernandez will be held at Rose-Neath on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Chaplain Les Riggs will officiate the service. Freddie was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 16, 1942 to Benito and Cecilia Garcia Hernandez. He passed away in Shreveport on July 29, 2021 at the age of 78. Freddie was a loving brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved to play the drums for local gigs. Freddie also loved spending evenings at his local VFW with his friends dancing and playing music. In his earlier years Freddie enjoyed being involved and working with Mid-South Wrestling in Shreveport, Louisiana. Freddie is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Manuel Hernandez and Phillip Hernandez; and great-granddaughter, Brinlee Green. He is survived by his girlfriend, Janie Hood; ex-wife, Treva Hernandez; daughters, Tandie Wyatt (Clint) and Blinda Williams (Clif); grandchildren, Britni Green (Whitney), Karmen Baucom (Josh), Meghan Collins (Colby), and Wyatt Williams; great-grandchildren, Baylee Carr, Jamison Baucom, William Green, Karlie Baucom, and Camden Collins; and several nieces and nephews. Honoring Freddie as pallbearers will be Wyatt Williams, Randy Hernandez, Gene Walker, Brandy Roberts, Bobby Garca and Corky Deavers.
