Alfred Lloyd Sharrow went to the Lord on January 20, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born on February 25, 1941 at Moriah, NY. Alfred was a 1960 graduate of Willsboro Central School, NY. Alfred married Hazel Jenney on May 18, 1997 at Rock Chapel, Mansfield, LA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norma Sharrow; siblings, Ruth Sharrow Duboin, David Sharrow, Rolland Sharrow, Harold Sharrow and Raymond Sharrow; granddaughter, Kaitlin Morris and great grandchild, Jackson Duke.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 21 years, Hazel Sharrow; brothers, Charles Sharrow, Jr. and wife Kathy, Francis Sharrow and wife Kay; daughters, Chistine Morris and husband Toni, Cynthia Andrews and husband Brian, Dawn Ryals and husband David, Norma Fuller and husband Perry, Shelley Provost; sons, Alfred Sharrow-Demars and husband Jeff and Danny Provost and wife Sheri; 13 grandchildren, Rachel and Todd Davis, Joshua Ryals, Megan Morris, Jody and Tommy Vines, Joshua Spencer, Denise Ryals, Tristan Ryals, James and Chevy Andrews, Jeff and Crystal Andrews, Ashley and Clayton Duke, Chelsea Fuller, Devin Loope and Chad Fuller; and 16 great grandchildren, Alli Ryals, Troy Davis, Jaime Andrews, Aubrey Andrews, Riley Andrews, Levi Andrews, Cindy Andrews, Maci Barbo, Trevor Crawford, Evan Davis, Keagan and Hadli Vines, Zoey and Gage Duke and Jeffery Andrews.
Alfred was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1959 to 1965. Alfred and Hazel were foster parents to many children from 1997 until his death. He worked for the Shreveport Police Department and the Mansfield Police Department as well as the Mansfield Water Department and the Grand Cane Water Department. His favorite bible verse was John 3:16 and his favorite song was "Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden".
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ed Campbell, David Armstrong and Dennis Deas.
Funeral services for Alfred Lloyd Sharrow will be at Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 6 pm with Reverend Alton Middleton officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 pm till 6 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
