Logansport, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Marie Vile, 74, will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Rose-Neath's Funeral Home in Logansport, LA with Reverend Joe Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Newburn Cemetery in Center, TX. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath's Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Marie was born on October 7, 1942 in Center, TX to Otto Ray and Mary Elizabeth Samford and entered into rest on February 17, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Marie was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Preceding Marie in death were her parents Otto Ray and Mary Elizabeth Samford; sister, Rebecca Blair; and brother, Harold Samford. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jackie Vile; sons Edward Briggs of Dallas, TX, Ronald Sims and wife Shawnna of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; sister, Charlcie Wilson of Irving, TX; and grandchildren, Ronald Wayne Sims, Jr. and Brandie Renee Sims. Those honoring the life of Marie as pallbearers are Kenneth Bailey, Ronnie W. Sims, David Bigham, Jimmy Cordova, Jimmy Dillard, and Paul Brooks.
