For many years, Alvin participated in the Battle of Pleasant Hill re-enactment, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Alvin comes from a large, extended family that includes grand nieces and nephews, a great-grand niece and an expected great-grand nephew. He leaves behind many cousins and even more friends. He was a unique person who people gravitated to because of his extreme personality. All who knew him have personal \'Alvin stories\' that will continue to cause laughter and tears as he is remembered.
