Alvin DeLynn "Tex" Wells

Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Alvin DeLynn "Tex" Wells, 76, will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with Reverend Eli "Skip" Noble and Bro. Gordon Eads officiating. The burial will follow at Grand Cane Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Mansfield on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

DeLynn was born in Pleasant Hill to Alvin and Annie Carroll Wells and passed away in Mansfield. DeLynn was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mansfield.

Preceding DeLynn in death were his parents and daughter DeLana Eads.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years Curtis Cannon Wells; daughter Judy Freeman and husband Joe; sons Daryl Wells and wife Dana and Garry Caston and wife Joyce; brother Carroll Wells and wife Pat; grandchildren Chase Wells and wife Samantha, Crystal Martin, Gordon Eads and wife Kristen, Zach Eads, Kristin Hildebrand and husband Waylon, Kole Caston, Shea Cortez, Amanda Gonzales, and Karina Gonzales; 7 great grandchildren; son-in-law Kerry Eads and wife Kim.

Those honoring the life of DeLynn as pallbearers will be Chase Wells, Kole Caston, Gordon Eads, Zach Eads, Martin Wells, and Dean Wells.
