Alyce Ruth Cagle

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Alyce Ruth Cantley Cagle, 93, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel; with Reverend Jeff Segner officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside. Mrs. Cagle was born October 17, 1921 in Prescott, AR and passed away June 28, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She retired as a Cafeteria Manager from Caddo Parish Schools; working at both Riverside and Werner Park Elementary Schools. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, John E. Cagle, Jr. She is survived by children, Betty Cagle Walker and husband, Charlie, Nancy Cagle Martin husband, Brian L. Martin; grandchildren, Laura Walker Bozell and husband, David , Erin Walker Maddox and husband, Stephen, Ridley Walker, Hannah Martin, Reed Cagle Martin; five great-grandchildren and special friend, Gloria Wood. The family wishes to thank special caregivers, Christy Chalmers, Amelia Morris, Jean Sibley and Betty Young.
