Amy Lynette Pardue

A memorial service for Amy Lynette Pardue, 54, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 11:30 p.m. until service time. An inurnment will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating the service will be Brother Andrew Brewster.  

Amy was born on October 21, 1968 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana to Philip Wayne and Bobbie Zeagler Pardue and passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.  

She lived in Cypress and Spring, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated from Huntington High School. She attended Louisiana Tech University, ultimately graduating from Louisiana State University- Shreveport. She worked for Specialty Oil and Hewlett Packard and enjoyed photography, artwork, quilting and needlepoint. She was an animal lover and loved her past and present dogs as well as her cats, Johnny and Goldie. 

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marion and Louise Pardue; maternal grandparents, Lee Zeagler and Georgie Bolden Davidson; uncles, Gene and Glenn Pardue and cousins, Ewell Pardue and Angela Gregory. Left to cherish her memory are her parents; brother, Wayne Pardue and wife, Shari; uncle, Don Zeagler and wife, Anna; aunts, Denise Rizzo and husband, Mark and Wanda Pardue; cousins, Charles Pardue and wife, Michelle, Brad Rizzo, Katie Tysdal and husband, Chris; step-father, Dale Looney; significant other, Willard Boatman and other uncles and cousins.  

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023 or to the donor’s favorite animal rescue.
