Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Andrea Lee Shoalmire, 72, will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse, LA with Reverend Jim Tennery and Reverend Jimmy Dan Lilley officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Converse, LA. Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5:00 PM Till 8:00 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Andrea was born on February 18, 1944 in San Francisco, CA to Lyman and Goldie Welch Hutchings and passed October 20, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Andrea was on the Advisory Board of Clara Springs, a Summer Counselor at Clara Springs, a member of the WMU, a member of The Retired Teachers Association and an active teacher and member at Fellowship Baptist Church. Preceding Andrea in death were her parents Lyman and Goldie Hutchings. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles E "Sonny" Shoalmire of Converse, LA; sons, Jeffrey Shoalmire and wife Christy of Mansfield, LA, Charles E. Shoalmire, Jr and wife Courtney of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Jennifer Nitz and husband Jay of Haughton, LA; brothers, Raymond Hutchings and wife Birdie of Bristow, OK, Alfred Hutchings and wife Debbie of Bristow, OK, Jerry Hutchings and wife Clara of Bristow, Ok; 9 Grandchildren, and 2 Great grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Andrea as pallbearers will be Walter Litton, D.D. Litton, Chris Friday, Sidney Johnson, J.R. Watson, and Ronald McDonald. Those honoring as honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brandon, Hunter, Jayson, Joah, Jesse, and Mason. In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to The Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund at 124 Fellowship Circle, Converse, LA 71419.
