Memorial services for Angela Maria Molinard Godley, 53, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue. Giving the eulogy will be Larry LaBorde and Christopher LaBorde. Angela was born on Barksdale Air Force Base to Carolyn Applewhite DeLatin and Jack Molinard. She passed away on September 10, 2014. She worked at Christus Schumpert Highland Hospital for many years. She was also the owner of The Noble Savage, an iconic restaurant in downtown Shreveport that was modeled after a typical English pub. She was loved by so many and remembered for her humor and always made you laugh. She loved her dogs, Isabell and Frank. They were her kids. She always had stories about them that always made you laugh. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Alma Applewhite. Left to cherish her memory are her parents; great aunt, Christine LaBorde; aunt, June Applewhite; cousins, Julia Dickerson, Terri J. Applewhite, Karen Cid, B.J. Applewhite, Robert LaBorde, Larry LaBorde, Jonathan LaBorde, Rick LaBorde, and Peyton LaBorde; and many other relatives and close friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Dennis Daugherty, Gene Gamble, Kelly Horton, Barry Humphrey and Gary Presswood. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, 2544 Linwood Avenue Shreveport, Louisiana 71103 orSt. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
