WINNSBORO, TX: Angus Perry McIntosh, 84, went to be with our Lord March 5, 2018, in Winnsboro, Texas after a six month battle with bone cancer. He was a former resident of Homer, LA. He was born April 12, 1933 in Bryceville, FL to Annie Inebnit and George Robinson McIntosh. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force serving as base commander in Spangdahlem, Germany.Mr. McIntosh was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tom, Clarence, James, Jack and sisters Marie and Mable, also father-in-law Patrick J. Hassett.He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Paula Hassett McIntosh of Winnsboro, TX; mother-in-law Lois E. Hassett of Houston, TX, daughter Tracie Wilder and wife husband Wood, of Homer, son Angus P. McIntosh II and wife Linda, of Craig, CO, George H. McIntosh and wife Linda, of Acworth, GA, John W. McIntosh and wife Amy of Lake Charles, LA, and daughter Tami Loudin and husband Brad of San Antonio, TX.; sisters Elizabeth Brown of Green Cove, FL and Lyla Ellezey and husband Frank, of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren Jennifer and husband Michael Mimms of Fort Worth, TX, Lawson Wilder III, John Wilder III, Bonnie Wilder, Robin Wilder and Adam Wilder of Homer, Mary, Anna, Devin and Dillon McIntosh, all of Craig, CO, Murphy, Sophie and Holly McIntosh, all of Lake Charles, LA, Kayli and Logan Reyes of San Antonio, TX and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Homer. Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
