Shreveport, La - Graveside services for Anita (Sissie) Chesser, age 95, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA with Bro. Don Fletcher officiating.
Mrs. Chesser was born in Taylor, AR on February 4, 1922 to Benny and Elma Bethany and passed away July 25, 2017 at Colonial Oaks in Bossier City, LA. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Chesser was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Chesser; brother, Ben Bethany, Jr; sister, Jennie H. Vines and niece, Dana Duke. She is survived by two nieces, Jan Hopper Quinn and husband, Jerry of Vivian, LA. and Deborah Hendricks and husband, Jimmy of Bossier City, La; two nephews, Donald Hopper and wife, Mary of Springfield, Il and Ken Bethany and significant other, Cynthia. Mrs. Chesser is also survived by her sister-in-law, Merna Bethany of Stamps, AR and numerous other relative and friends.
