KEITHVILLE, LA - Funeral services for Anita "Nita" Karen Taylor, 50, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Haughton Cemetery, Hwy 157, Haughton, LA. Rev. Vernon Weindorff of Missionary Church of God will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.
Nita was born November 14, 1966 in Shreveport to James and Gail Taylor and passed away March 5, 2017. Nita loved to go hunting and being outdoors. She had a huge heart and a deep love for children. Nita was known for being a very generous person and would stop everything she was doing to help anyone in need.
Nita was preceded in death by her father, James M. Taylor, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Gail E. Lindsey Taylor; maternal grandparents, Harold Lindsey and Mattie Clevenger; brother, James Mack "Jimmy" Taylor, Jr.; sister, Christy Griffin and her husband, Kris; her beloved, Haley, Aubrey, and Gauge; her very dear and special friend, Gene Parker; her best friend, Marty Cloud; nephew, Cody Griffin; nieces, Valerie Taylor, Megan Griffin, and Maggie Griffin; along with numerous cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Honoring Nita as pallbearers will be, Bill Harmon, Cody Griffin, Ethan Harmon, John Michael Garcia, Cory Funderburk, Jarrod Jones, and Ronnie Garcia.
