SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Anna Marie Mueller Dickson, 81, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Marcus Ring. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA.
Anna was born on March 2, 1933 in Dallas, TX and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2014. She was a graduate of Fair Park High School and supported and enjoyed attending her class reunions. She was a very active member of LWML and also a member of Mission Guild. She served as a board member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and a substitute secretary for Huntington High School. She absolutely loved her church and was a member of the choir because the Lord blessed her with a beautiful voice. Anna enjoyed her summers and many friends in Lake Leelanau, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Alma Mueller; husband, Thomas A. Dickson and daughter, Karen Lee Dickson. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Thomas E. Dickson and wife, Candy; grandchildren, Tod, Andrew and Katherine Dickson, Jennifer Maillet, Christina Smith and husband, James; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Kevilynn, Bailey, and Lily; first cousin, Louis Schelling, his wife, Tommie Sue and family of Dallas, TX.
Pallbearers will be Tim Brobst, Randy Smith, Zachary Brobst, Kevin McClellan, Alan Yoken, and Kenny Brobst. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Mayo, Brad Mayo, Dwain Brobst, Harry Grant and Bill Schelling.
