SHREVEPORT, LA - Home Going services celebrating the life of Antonette Cimino Moore, 89, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park East. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Kincaid. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Antonette was born on May 9, 1926 in Shreveport, LA to Rosario and Virginia Bronacino Cimino and went to be with her Savior on October 2, 2015. She was a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and made nursing her career. She met and married the love of her life, Lloyd Edward Moore. Antonette worked as an RN for Willis-Knighton for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and treasured her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosario and Virginia Cimino; her loving husband of 23 years, Lloyd Edward Moore; grandson, Michael Brian Young; three brothers, Johnny, Sam, and Nick Cimino; two sisters, Josephine Bruno and Rose Knighton. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wanda Pruett, Sandra Darsey and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Chris Darsey and wife, Denise, Todd Pruett, Stephanie Smith and husband, Judson, Ryan Pruett and wife, Kelli, Stephen Johnson and wife, Lyndi, and Kristina Pruett; numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bonnie Cimino, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Honoring Antonette as pallbearers will be Chris Darsey, Ryan Pruett, Judson Smith, Todd Pruett, Stephen Johnson, and David Cascio.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Antonette's doctors, DeAnna Donley, Tommy Brown, Rodney Reeves and the nursing staff at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, the doctors and nurses at Promise Hospital, Regional Hospice Staff and Willis-Knighton Home Health nurses for all the care and support they gave to our precious mama and granny.
