April Danielle Daugherty

SHREVEPORT, LA - April was born on April 11, 1988 and passed away March 24, 2017. April graduated from C.E. Byrd in 2006 with honors where she served as Varsity cheer captain. After graduation, April attended LSU where she bled purple and gold. She was an avid Tigers fan. She graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. April worked in Neuro ICU at University Health where she took care of so many patients and families. She loved her job and everyone she worked with. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, R. L and Ruth McInnis. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harrison Trent Daugherty; father, Daniel McInnis; mother, Kim Allen and husband Garry; grandmother, Glenda Cox; grandfather, Robert Senn; sisters, Katie Lettau and husband Kevin, Kristie Aubrey and husband Michael; brother, Danny McInnis; aunts and uncles, Ruthie and David Bryant, Randy and Donna McInnis, Gary McInnis, Robby Senn, Jay and Nancy Senn, Sherry Smith, Angela and Chad Mayo, Jackie and Giselle Cox; nieces, Chloe, Mallory, Landry, Maddie, and Avery; also numerous cousins who adored April and her precious dog Gumbeaux. Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside Chapel with Rev. John Harp officiating. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside. Honoring April as pallbearers will be Ryan Alexander, Cody Hughes, Jonathan Lafitte, Chance McNeely, Nick Rains, and Chuck Royer. Our April, so full of life, left us much too soon and will be greatly missed by a huge number of friends and family. She lit up this world and it will be dimmer without her here.
