Aud Rigmor Knudsen Hanson died Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the Highland Clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana, due to metastatic cancer. A memorial service will be held at later date due to the current complications of mass gatherings.
Aud Hanson was born on March 27, 1950 in Sortland, Norway to parents, Adelaide Andreassen and Reinholdt Knudsen and raised in Hognfjord, Norway.
Aud Hanson\'s life aspirations were to become a Pan-American flight attendant and to have children and grandchildren. Eventually, through many tough years, she triumphantly accomplished her goals. She enjoyed her final years at Harrah\'s Casino and then, Sam\'s Town Casino, where she was known as an extremely hard worker, making many wonderful friends.
Aud was known for voicing her opinions with great passion, backed by an extremely caring heart. Her stunning appearance and captivating Norwegian accent made her a uniquely intriguing yet lovely human being. She will always be remembered for her warmth and kind heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Yngve Knudsen and sister, Sylvi Barlow.
Aud leaves behind her two children, Ashton Hanson and Cadre Hanson; two grandchildren, Kaine and Ivy Hanson; three brothers, Stein Knudsen, Per Knudsen and Willy Knudsen and sister, Gunn Stavem.
