SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. A. W. Turney, 88, of Shreveport, LA passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 after a brief illness. He was loved and is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Pauline Turney; children, Randy Turney and wife, Cecelia, Sherry, and Sandra; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many other loving family members and friends. He was a member and deacon of Summer Grove Baptist Church for many years. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, Shreveport, LA, burial to follow 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, MS.
