Barbara Allen Wedgeworth Cannon of Bossier City, LA passed away on February 16, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1950 in Vivian, LA to Lillie Cleo Allen.
 
 She resided in Bossier City, LA for most of her adult life. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School Class of 1968. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW and enjoyed attending events with the Krewe of Elders. She attended Bellaire Baptist Church. She loved to travel and enjoyed taking pictures of special moments with her family. She loved dancing and knew how to light up a room. She was a beloved mother, sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and friend to many. She was unapologetically loving and never missed a moment to let her family know just how important they were to her.
 
 She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Clifford Earl Cannon, Sr.; her children, Benjamin Mahoney, Cathlene Myers and husband, David, and Charlene Mahoney; her stepchildren, Clifford Cannon, Jr., Lori Swearingen and husband, Buddy; grandchildren, D.J. Mahoney, Ashley Puckett and husband, Jason, Jeremy Clark, Caitlyn Clark and Hannah Greene, Zackary Myers, Makaela Mahoney, Zachary Cannon, Colby Cannon, Dusty Swearingen and Christian Swearingen; great-grandchildren, Logan Wells, Braylin Puckett, Haidyn Lee, Ryder Lee, Carson Clark, Madalynn Cannon, Colton Cannon, Eastyn’Jay Higdon and Aubree Higdon; and her sister, Diane Smith and husband, Dale.
 
 She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Allen and husband, Morris; her mama, Dorothy Jordan and husband, Forrest.
 
 Honoring Barbara as pallbearers will be Jason Puckett, David Myers, Zackary Myers, Hannah Greene, and Dusty Swearingen.
 
 A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Pastor Randy Harper.
