Vivian, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Barbara Stone Jennings, age 82 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Toby Harrell pastor of Christian Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Vivian, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, November 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Barbara was born in Fouke, AR on February 25, 1935 to Aubrey Dan Clark and Ida Bell Rushing Clark and passed away on November 24, 2017 at North Caddo Medical Center. She was a bank teller for many years at First National Bank in Vivian. After retiring, Barbara loved playing and loving on her grandbabies. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Ida Clark, husband, Rev. Hardy Stone, son, Lanny Stone and two brothers, James Clark and Shorty Clark. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Vernon R. Jennings, Jr. of Vivian, LA; children, Martha Stone Rogers and husband, Herb of The Woodlands, TX, Jason Brett Jennings of Rodessa, LA, Abbie Jennings Jett and husband of Texarkana of Texarkana, TX; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Stone of Vivian, LA; brother, Boe Clark of Texarkana, AR. Barbara is also survived by her grandbabies, Bambi Allan and husband, James, Clint Martin and wife, Samantha, Orry Martin and wife, Megan, Sean Rogers, Lanny Page "Skipper" Stone and wife, Stevie, Ashley Patrick and husband, Cody; Larsen Jennings, Katie Jennings, Cooper Jennings and Zachery and 7 great grandbabies. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Christian Avenue Church of Christ, P. O. Box 574, Vivian, LA 71082. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Stephen Taylor and the staff of North Caddo Medical Center for the exceptional care, dedication and love given to our precious loved one.

A true matriarch of the family, She left a strong legacy of class and southern values that her grandchildren will carry out everyday. Never forgotten, always loved! Mamaw's lil angel
