Barbara Sue Clayton Kimble

Barbara Sue Clayton Kimble , 88, of Minden, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025 at her home.

Sue was born March 23, 1936, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Benjamin Kimble, her parents, James Thomas and Lola Leon Clayton and her brother Thomas Richard Clayton.

She is survived by her son, Robert Randall Kimble and wife Karen of Minden; daughter, Pamela Kimble Holley and husband Jerry of Minden; sister-in-law June R. Clayton of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Dollie Kimble Hughes of Livingston; grandchildren, Eric Philip Holley, Kimberly Holley Reagan (Randall), Megan Hunt Armstrong (Justin), and Justin Hunt (Jenna); and seven great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to her caretakers, Ina, Ann, Melba, Brenda and Barbara for their kindness and dedication. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
