Mammy, as she was known to all, received her BA, Masters and plus 30 in education from NSU. She was an educator for over 50 years in various schools. She could teach every subject and every grade from elementary thru high school and she was the ultimate teacher. She will be remembered for her quick wit, her talent of singing and playing the piano, her love of teaching students, her domestic talents, her love of reading and working crossword puzzles, her love of her kids and grandkids and great-grandkids, but most of all, the love she had for the Lord. She demonstrated that through years of teaching Sunday school, Bible Study, VBS, leading music, and leading others to Christ. We know she is walking the streets of gold with our Lord and with her parents, her son-Scott, her grandson-Pudge, her sister-Alice, and her mother-in-law-Bernice. There will never be another Mammy...
