Funeral services for Barbara Reeves will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2 pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Harrell Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. Barbara entered into rest January 13, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born May 23, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but made her home in Minden for many years, raising her family, making friends, and serving the community, especially at Ed's Food Mart. Her husbands Edward Kennedy and Lee Reeves and her son Lynn Kennedy preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother Doris Pate of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, daughter Pamela Kennedy Miller of Homer, siblings Mary Webb, Juanita Foster, and George Pate of Tuscaloosa, granddaughters Colene Pipes and Adrienne Terral and great-granddaughter Peyton Pipes.
