Bell "Pete" Lafitte

  Pelican, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Bell "Pete" Lafitte, 81, will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pelican, LA with Father Mathew Long officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM.   Pete was born on February 2, 1935, in Rambin Community to Burl and Frances Lafitte and passed away on December 31, 2016 in Pelican, LA. Pete was a loving father and grandfather. He was a 50 year retiree of the Pipe Liners Local 798 and also served in United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.   Preceding Bell in death were his parents Burl and Frances Lafitte; spouse Billie Elliott Lafitte, Daughter; Laurie Gem Lafitte, sister; Ina Marie Lafitte   Those left behind to cherish his memory are his Wife Frances Elliott Lafitte, Sons; Tim Lafitte & wife Shawnee, Edwin Lafitte, Stepsons: Farrell Rose & wife Amanda, Kevin Liker & wife Kristin, Daughter; Lisa Hymel & husband Wynn, Melanie Roark & husband Kevin, Stepdaughter; Rosalyn Rose Kelly & husband Pete, Brothers; Bearl Lafitte & wife Marie, Louis Lafitte & wife Dorothy, Gerald Lafitte, Francis Lafitte & wife Mitzi, James Lafitte & Janice, and numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
