A Memorial Service for Benjamin C. Crumpley, 28, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating will be Brother Joseph Hanson. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. until the service.
Ben was born on March 8, 1993, to Michael Crumpley and Wendy Whitmer in Little Elm, Texas.
Ben and his fiancée, Cheyenne, had known each other since childhood. After going their separate ways, they later met up with each other and became engaged in 2021. They are the proud parents of a wonderful little girl named Dyna. Ben loved spending all his time with her. He named her after his favorite Harley Davidson motorcycle. Ben was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and worked hard until he was able to save up enough to buy the Harley his daughter was named after, The Dyna.
Ben started working on classic vehicles when he was a young teenager, and his first vehicle was a '68 Chevy Stepside. In his early life he worked hard to get his Journeyman Plumbing license but realized his first love was working on automobiles, so he became a diesel mechanic. He also enjoyed riding four wheelers, sitting around bonfires, and having a cold Corona with his family and friends.
Ben is preceded in death by his stepfather, Darren Whitmer and great-uncle, Denny "Squeak" Swecker. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Michael Crumpley and wife, Cindy; mother, Wendy Whitmer; fiancée, Cheyenne Creamer Crumpley; daughter, Dyna Estella Crumpley; brother, Collin Whitmer; sister, Madison Whitmer; maternal grandparents, Richard Jergins and wife, Judy and Sherry Gilbert and paternal grandparents, Janice Liskai and husband, Al and Darrell Whitmer.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Scotty Barbara, Aaron Carter, Alex Christian, Trey Creamer, and Dillon Faulkner.
