Benny Lloyd Dockens

A funeral service honoring the life of Benny Lloyd Dockens 59, of Carlsbad, NM will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. Juanita Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Provencal, LA. Benny was born on October 19, 1955 in Converse, LA. He entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2015 in Zwolle, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur James Dockens and Nancy Thelma Miller Dockens; brothers Roy Arthur Dockens, Ollie Lou Dockens, David Lloyd Dockens, and Henry Walter Bland. He is survived by his ex wife Glenda Hammond; sons Jeremy Ray Dockens, Davey Lloyd Dockens and wife Tiele; brothers Lonnie Jeff Dockens, James Rubin Bland and wife Sharon; sister Joyce Sue Price; grandchildren Dustin Ray Dockens, Nicole Dockens, Joseph Richardson, Haylee Dockens, Keanu Dockens, Cooper Dockens, Swayd Dockens; and a host of family and friends. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Buddy Miller, J.R. Bland, Vernon Eggleston, Lennie Clifton, Richard Beason, Christopher Beason. Honorary pallbearer will be Cooper Dockens.
