Benny Franklin Powell

Funeral services honoring the life of Benny Franklin Powell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at Old Pisgah Baptist Church in Marthaville, Louisiana. Interment will follow the service located at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held at the church from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd, 2020. Benny was born on April 10th, 1945 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to B.F. and Erma Powell. He entered into eternal rest on September 30th, 2020 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. Preceding Benny in death are his parents, B.F. Powell and Erma Powell; sisters, Patricia Ann Graves and Flo Ellen Greer; son, Adam Franklin Powell. He is survived by his sons, Zachary Powell and wife Gabrielle Powell and Patrick Jacobs and wife Belinda Jacobs; sister, Kay Hough and husband Ronald Hough; grandchildren, Sawyer Powell, Jaxton Powell, Will Jacobs, and Abby Jacobs. Honoring Benny as pallbearers will be Jack Sanders, Craig Richardson, Gary Anderson, Harold Pardee, Tommy Patrick and Ricky Dufour. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Hardee, Steve Lewis, J W Johnson, Reggie Anders and Doyle Stockton.
