MOORINGSPORT, LA - Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Bertie Lillian Greer Gremen, 87, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2014, in the sanctuary of Mooringsport Methodist Church with Rev. Ronald Dunn officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Old Mooringsport Cemetery, Mooringsport, LA. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Friday, December 19, 2014, from the hours of 6-8:30 PM at Rose-Neath Southside, Shreveport, LA. Bertie, surrounded by her loving family passed into heaven on December 16th, 2014. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 3, 1927. She grew up in Mooringsport, Louisiana with her parents Clarence and Gertrude Greer and lived in Mooringsport/Oil City most of her life. She attended Mooringsport High School and met her late husband of 68 years, Logan Max Gremen and they married her senior year. Bertie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and sons, Buster Petross Gremen and Clarence Buster Gremen, brother; Charles Greer. She is survived by daughters, Lily Mackey and husband, Bill, Rosanne Garrett and husband, Earl; granddaughter, Leanne Divine and husband, Eric; grandsons, Wayne Boyter and wife, Holly, John Carter and wife, Jamee, Mark Boyter and wife, Sybil; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
