LOGANSPORT, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Bessie Jean Malone, 90, will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Logansport, LA with Reverend Charles Hall and Reverend Dean Register officiating. Burial will follow at O.E. Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 pm until service time. Bessie was born on June 26, 1927 to W.J. and Nettie Heard and entered into rest on February 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Ivan Travis Hatcher; her parents; her son, William "Bill" Hatcher; her sister, Alice Bivings; and her brother, F.D. "Buster" Heard. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pamela Thomas, Carol Sue Richardson and husband Dennis, and Joyce Malone all of Logansport, LA; daughter-in-law, Judy Hatcher of Santa Fe, TX; sister, Sybil McMillan of Waskom, TX; grandchildren, Billie Hughes and husband Michael, Tammy Wheless, Travis Jay Hatcher and wife Amy, James Travis Thomas and wife Melynda, Jayson Ray Richardson and wife Cassie, Jared Harwood Richardson and wife Charli; great grandchildren, Destini, Jalyn, Taylor, Jacob, Shelbi, Kaylee, Dylan, Tanna, Kaigan, Cannon, Brent, Justin, Blake, Ariana, Kynslee, Tyler, Alyssa; great-great grandchildren, Kylee, Summer, Charlie, David; special nieces, Delores Wigley, Mary Culver, and special nephew, Bob Heard and wife Loretta Honoring the life of Bessie as pallbearers will be Travis J. Hatcher, James Travis Thomas, Jayson Richardson, Jared Richardson, Michael Hughes, and Bob Heard.
