Betty went quietly to her final resting place May 15, 2018.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, C. Jackson Causey 13 years earlier. Surviving children are Debi Montelbano, Dawn Causey Boyd, and Jere Causey along six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Lifelong resident of Bossier City and Benton, Louisiana with her husband Jack. They were married 60 years. A Proclamation by the Mayor of Benton, La., on July 27, 1996 day was declared JACK AND BETTY CAUSEY DAY THOUGH OUT THE TOWNSHIP OF Benton La where as they have shared their special love and life with each other.
Betty and Jack's lives were full and they were very civic minded - President of many organizations and contributions to Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Jack and Betty were life-long members of Palmetto Country Club.
Betty loved painting and her art work has been displayed in various galleries.
Betty loved horses and was an avid horsewoman. Betty's love for animals and of "taking in stray animals" was known throughout the neighborhood. People were always dropping off animals round her house knowing Miss Betty would take care of them.

Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, La.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Betty is with the Lord and Jack will be at the Pearly Gates waiting to greet her and say "What took you so long?"
