Betty Delores Dalton

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Betty Delores Dalton, 75, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Lee Jackson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Betty was born on March 19, 1940 in Shreveport to Oscar F. and Mary Slawson Flores and passed away on October 5, 2015. Betty had a strong Christian faith and family. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother for 56 years. Betty believed in living life to the fullest and made the most of every day. She enjoyed her bible studies, loved to cook, shop, and spend time with her friends and family. She especially loved celebrating the holidays. Betty will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and both sons, Donnie Dalton and James Dalton. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, William D. Dalton; daughter, Cynthia Sturgeon and husband, Dave; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to say a special thanks to all of the caregivers and loved ones for all the love, care, and support they gave in the final months.
