Betty Joe Rascoe

Funeral services celebrating the life of Betty Joe Rascoe will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Union Springs Baptist Church, 1076 Hwy 191, Converse, Louisiana. Interment will follow in Union Springs Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Amador Santos. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Betty was born on April 18, 1936, in Benson, Louisiana to John “Doc” and Eunice Raines McDonald and entered into rest on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

Preceding Betty in death are her husband, Jack Ray Rascoe; her parents; infant, Baby Rascoe; and grandson, Jacob Springer.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rodney Rascoe (Debbie); daughters, Jacklyn Springer (Oliver), Kay Speights (Bill), and Christy Hesser (Brian); brother-in-law, Chal “Butch” Rascoe; grandchildren, Isaac Springer, Melissa LeBlanc (John), Katie Freyer (Tuck), Clint Rascoe (Hope), Daniel Rascoe (Monica), Colton Speights (Amanda), Cord Hesser (Samantha), Samantha Stampley (Charlie), and Gracie Lynn Hesser; great-grandchildren, Jack Springer, Sophie Springer, Grant LeBlanc, William LeBlanc, Lindsey Rascoe, Bailey Rascoe, Jaidyn Nash, Rowan Rascoe, Taryn Rascoe, Collin Speights, Ava Speights, Brantley Hesser, Case Hesser, Charlie Stampley, Pistolynn Stampley, and Mazie Jo Stampley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Betty as pallbearers will be Isaac Springer, Clint Rascoe, Daniel Rascoe, Colton Speights, Cord Hesser, and Charlie Stampley.
