Betty Lou Swann Riner was born on July 25, 1939, to John William Swann and Ida Mae Swann in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, in Benton, Louisiana.

Betty married her one true love, Thomas Riner on June 21, 1958. She gave birth to two children and spent her life dedicated to them. She loved doting on and taking care of them and her husband. She was more than just a homemaker, she took great pride in her home and worked tirelessly cleaning and tending to it. She loved to spend time with her family. She gave her life to the lord and her church. She spent many years as a member of Red River Church in Benton, Louisiana. She sang in the choir and loved church hymns. She was always reading her bible and sharing God’s love through her kind and compassionate heart. Thomas was her best friend, and they did everything together, they enjoyed sitting side by side watching old movies and westerns, going to plays, and exploring museums. She enjoyed traveling and going on trips with her husband. They would take the RV and hit the road going off to visit her siblings and other family members and staying gone for weeks at a time. Her family was her everything and she was theirs. She will be dearly missed by them all.
