Betty Raughley Smith

A celebration of life for Betty Raughley Smith will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Shreveport. Betty was surrounded by family at home when she left for her final adventure on February 21, 2017. Betty was born on May 16, 1926 in Riverside, NJ to Fred and Ida Emory. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Constance Ann Terry, her parents and three siblings. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert F. Smith, sons Richard Kelly and his wife Peggy, Timothy Kelly and his wife Ellen, daughters Rebecca Brown and her husband Ronald, Corinne Kelly, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews along with her sweet doggies Lady and Pixie. Betty touched the hearts of many people, she lived life to the fullest and was always ready for adventure. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
