Betty Jones Tanner

Betty Jones Tanner of Mansfield passed away on August 17, 2015. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Gladys Rush and father Bertis Henry Rush; her daughter Deborah Williams; son Gerald Jones; granddaughter Stephanie Williams Kellogg ; and great grandson Seth Jones.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by her daughter Kathy Parrish and husband Guy; son Dale Jones and wife Sheila; son-in-law Johnny Williams; daughter-in-law Rhonda Jones; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; step-mother Alice Leha Rush; and siblings Elray Rush, Mary Williams and husband Thomas, Susan Woods, Bobby Rush and wife Barbara, Bertis Rush and wife Sharon, Connie Reed ,Betsey Andrus and husband Charlie, Johnny Rush, and Keith Rush and wife Angela.

Those honoring the life of Mrs. Tanner and pallbearers will be Timothy Lindsey, Rodney Sanders, Blake Manshack, Matt Montcalm, Randy McLeod, and Clifton Tims. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Lindsey, Willie Weir, and Neil Tims.

Services will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with Reverend Bob Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.
