Betty Maffett Wilson

A graveside service for Betty Maffett Wilson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana.

Betty was born on February 14, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Otis and Lila Maffett and passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Betty was a lifelong member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Fletcher Wilson, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Holly Wilson Hopkins; sons, Mark Edwin Wilson, Doug Wilson and Chris Wilson; grandchildren, Hunter Hopkins, Katie Hopkins and Luke Wilson and great-grandson, Eli Hopkins.
