Sibley, LA Betty Jean Thrash Woods Funeral services for Betty Jean Thrash Woods will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Richard Methvin and Rev. Don McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Betty Jean was born March 18, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest October 2, 2016 in Sibley, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Lavelle Woods, parents Henry and Gladys Thrash, brothers Bill and Jerry Thrash and sister Dorothy Wroten. She is survived by her sister Mardrie (Pete) Jackson, brother Richard Thrash, son Charles Woods and wife Guilda, daughter Vicki Eubanks and husband Jerry, grandsons Will Woods and Blake Taylor, granddaughter Shan Merritt, great-grandchildren Madison, Mallory, and Maizie and many nieces and nephews.
