Beulah Maria Greeson

HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Beulah Ward Dean Greeson, 80, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Homer in Homer on Friday, July, 18, 2014 at 2:00pm with Rev. Bill Don Hendricks, officiating. Interment will follow at Tulip Cemetery near Athens, Louisiana. Mrs. Greeson was born August 18, 1933 in Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas to William Elbert Ward and Vertie Marie Beck Ward. She passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Claiborne Rehabilitation following a short illness. Mrs. Greeson was a member of the Jehovah\'s Witnesses Kingdom Hall and a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Libby Dean Hammon and husband, Ray of Homer: one son, Greg Dean and wife, Angeles of Homer: on sister, Linda Doxie of Ft. Myers, Florida; one brother, Chris Ward and wife, Betty of Sheridan, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brandon and Kenneth Hammon; four nieces, Krista Doxie Kelly and husband, Bill, Tammy Jacobs Wilson and husband, Tommy, Melanie Capps and Ginger Tapley and husband, Kyle; one nephew, Keith Doxie. Pallbearers were Kenny Hammon, Brandon Hammon, Larry Ware, Daniel Ledford, Steve Austin and Ray Hammon. For friends considering memorials honoring Mrs. Greeson, her family suggests the Alzheimer\'s Association, the American Cancer Society or the donor\'s choice.
