PELICAN, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Sue Salter Bridges, 61, will be at 3:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Roger Merrit officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery in Pelican, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1PM till 3PM. Sue was born on May 2, 1956 to Fred and Billie Pickett Salter and entered into rest on October 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Butch Salter. Sue was a registered nurse for twenty-six years and volunteer fire fighter for District 8 Fire Dept. Those left behind to cherish her memory are husband of forty years, Robert Bridges of Wallace Community, LA; daughter, Rhonda Meshell and husband Kevin of Mansfield, LA; sisters, Gloria S. Cole and husband Danny of Shreveport, LA, Becky Salter Menard and spouse Penny of Bossier City, LA, Emily S. Walker and husband Joel of Alexandria, LA, Sandy Jeane and husband Daryl of Shreveport, LA; grandchild, Morgan Meshell of Mansfield, LA; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Honoring the life of Sue as pallbearers will be Bradley Hines, Mark Cole, Ben Cole, Justin Cole, Zachary Walker, Ricky Hines and Chris Menard
