Beverly Jean Ramsey Border

Beverly Jean Ramsey Border, 77, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on July 1, 1947, in Logansport, Louisiana to Curtis Dudley, Sr. and Vivian Horn Ramsey.

Jeannie graduated from Logansport High School and attended Northwestern State University where she began her career as a teacher. Later she decided to change careers to the Oil and Gas Industry from where she retired. Jeannie was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family. She made many beautiful items. She also loved sharing her knowledge of sewing with those that were interested in learning this craft. She enjoyed singing in the choir at the First Methodist Church of Logansport, travelling, and entertaining. She even took ballet in her adult life.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Rodney Ramsey and wife, Sheila of Logansport; nephew, Chris Ramsey and wife, Hayley of Kilgore; niece, Elizabeth Randolph and husband, Jon of Henderson; and several great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved dachshund, Idabelle.

Jeannie will be greatly missed but we will forever love and cherish her memory.
