Billie Jean Hood

Mrs. Billie Jean Hood, age 91, of Bienville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2020. Mrs. Hood was born on September 26, 1929 in Hall Summit, La. She is survived by her son; Tommy Hood and wife Lindsay, daughter; Patricia Tidwell and husband Bobby, grandchildren; Brad, Shelly and Steven Tidwell, Hope, Hunter, Hayden, Harper and Hudson Hood, greatgrandchildren; Dylan Reese, Kameron Jackson, Kylee Moesch, Rayla Moesch and Mia Tidwell. Mrs. Hood is preceded in death by her husband Billy English Hood, her daughter Charlotte Hood, parents Jimmy Gay and Ceola Connley Gay. She was a member of Bienville United Methodist Church and enjoyed mowing her grass, taking care of the farm and spending time with her friends and family. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and the funeral will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery. Bro. Kelly Leach will officiate. Pallbearers will be, Brad Tidwell, Steven Tidwell, Billy Moesch, Dylan Reese, Kameron Jackson and Hunter Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be, Hudson Hood and Bobby Tidwell In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
