Funeral services for Billie Elaine Mitchell Reed, 91, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Marc Roath officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Billie was born March 24, 1926 in Cedar Grove, LA to William and Catherine Mitchell. She left to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2017. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Herman D. Reed; brothers, Sonny, Tad and Charles Mitchell. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her sons, Johnny Reed and wife Donna and Bennie Reed and wife Jacinta; daughter, Katherine Jackson and husband David; grandchildren, Johnny Dee Reed, Stephanie Deleon, Glenn Jackson, Amy Abraham, Tracie Brown, Ryan Reed and Brandon Reed and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Johnny Dee Reed, Glenn Jackson, Brandon Reed, Skipper Clinton, Link Abraham and Michael Sobolak.
