Billie Sue Waters

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Graveside service for Billie Sue Waters, 80, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Holley Springs Cemetery in Martin, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Moore. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Billie was born on May 19, 1935 in Coushatta, LA to Clarence Benton Woodard and Lucy Idalia Richard Woodard and passed away on November 18, 2015. She retired from Walgreens after working there for over 30 years. Billie was a kind, gentle, loving lady. She was always there when anyone needed her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Travis Waters, brothers, Jesse Woodard and Stan Woodard. She is survived by sister-in-law, Dona Woodard along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Honoring Billie as pallbearers will be Danny Higgins, Andrew Higgins, Tommy Woodard, and B.J. Arnold. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Live Oak Retirement Center and Willis Knighton Hospice for all the care and support they gave to Billie.
