Haughton, LA - Funeral service celebrating the life of Billy D. Crawford, age 79 will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:30 am at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday, November 23^rd from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Crawford was born in Hall Summit, LA on September 13, 1935 to John and Susie Moore Crawford and passed away on November 21, 2014 at his resident after a lengthy illness. He was a heavy equipment operator at Atlas Oil Refinery and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Crawford is preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Francis Crawford, parents, 3 sisters, Faye, Carolyn and Jimmie Lou and 5 brothers, Floyd, Sonny, James, Johnny and Bobby. He is survived by his sons: David Crawford and wife, Barbara, Randall Crawford and wife, Marsha, Russell Crawford and wife, Alice, Ryan Crawford and Patrick Crawford. Mr. Crawford is also survived by his grandchildren, Janet Crawford, Martha Crawford and Jessie Demmon.
